I found it interesting how you focused on Kaoru Jinno's feelings towards Toujou Hidetora, then just as Kaoru is coming to terms with the idea that his feelings aren't returned you give us that twist.
Even though there's no fruition to the realization that Shizuke forces Tora to have at the end, I found the journey through their respective pubescent emotions intriguing.
